টাঙ্গাইলের মির্জাপুরে গত ২৪ ঘন্টায় ইসলামী ব্যাংক মির্জাপুর শাখার ৬ কর্মকর্তাসহ নতুন করে ১২ জনের শরীরে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। এনিয়ে এই উপজেলায় ৪৭৬ জন করোনা সংক্রমিত হলেন। ইসলামী ব্যাংক মির্জাপুর শাখা লকডাউন করা হয়েছে বলে ব্যাংকের ব্যবস্থাপক জানিয়েছেন।
নতুন শনাক্তকৃত ব্যক্তিরা হলেন ইসলামী ব্যাংক মির্জাপুর শাখার ৬ জন। এদের মধ্যে মির্জাপুর শাখার ব্যবস্থাপক (৪৪), নিরাপত্তা কর্মকর্তা (৩৮), জুনিয়র অফিসার (২১), জুনিয়র অফিসার (২৫), জুনিয়র অফিসার (৩৭), জুনিয়র অফিসার (৪৮), উপজেলা ভূমি অফিসের গাড়ি চালক (৪১), মহেড়া পুলিশ ট্রেনিং সেন্টারের এক পুলিশ সদস্য (৩২), পৌর এলাকার পুষ্টকামুরী গ্রামের এক পুরুষ (৩৫), একই গ্রামের এক পুরুষ (৩৫), মির্জাপুর বাজারের এক পুরুষ (৩৪), বাওয়ার কুমারজানী গ্রামের এক যুবক (৩০)। মির্জাপুরে এ পর্যন্ত করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৪৭৬ জন। এর মধ্যে মারা গেছেন ৬ জন, সুস্থ্য হয়েছেন ৪১৭ জন এবং বাকি ৫৩ জন নিজ বাড়ি ও বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছে বলে শুক্রবার সকালে এই তথ্য জানিয়েছেন উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা কর্মকর্তা ডা. মাকসুদা খানম।
উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মো. আবদুল মালেক বলেন, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের অনুমোদনক্রমে ইসলামী ব্যাংক মির্জাপুর শাখা নিজেরাই লকডাউন ঘোষণা করেছে। আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিরা নিজ বাড়িতে আইসোলেশনে থেকে চিকিৎসা নেবেন বলে তিনি জানিয়েছেন।
