মির্জাপুরে ওজনে কারচুপি; দুই পেট্রোল পাম্পকে জরিমানা

টাঙ্গাইলের মির্জাপুরে মোবাইল কোর্ট পরিচালনার মাধ্যমে দুই পাম্প মালিককে মোট ৮০ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করেছেন সহকারি কমিশনার (ভূমি) ও নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মো. জুবায়ের হোসেন। পরিমাণে কারচুপি করায় এই অর্থদণ্ড প্রদান করা হয়েছে বলে তিনি জানান।
সোমবার (১৪ই ফেব্রæয়ারি) দুপুরে ঢাকা-টাঙ্গাইল মহাসড়ক সংলগ্ন উপজেলার কুর্ণি এলাকার মেসার্স আজিজ ফিলিং স্টেশনকে ৩০ হাজার টাকা ও কাটরা এলাকার লৌহজং ফিলিং স্টেশনকে ৫০ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়।
মোবাইল কোর্ট পরিচালনাকালে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ স্ট্যান্ডার্ডস এন্ড টেস্টিং ইনস্টিটিউশন (বিএসটিআই) এর পরিদর্শক কামরুল পলাশ।
সহকারি কমিশনার (ভূমি) ও নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট মো. জুবায়ের হোসেন বলেন, বেশকিছু ফিলিং স্টেশনে মোবাইল কোর্ট পরিচালনা করা হয়েছিল। যাদের বিরুদ্ধে পরিমাণে কারচুপি করার প্রমাণ পাওয়া গেছে তাদের জরিমানা করা হয়েছে। ভবিষ্যতেও এ ধরণের অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে।
